Different types of outboard motor
First of all, you need to know whether you require a short shaft, long shaft or extra-long shaft. That will depend on the transom height of your boat.
Don’t know the transom height? You can find out by measuring the back of the boat from the mounting point of the motor to the bottom. When choosing the right motor, please note the following:
+/- 43 cm: short shaft
+/- 51 cm: long shaft
+/-63 cm: extra-long shaft
Outboard motors are available with various steering systems. Do you steer your boat manually? Then you need a tiller-handle steering system. But do you have a steering wheel or a rudder? Then you should choose a motor with remote control.
An extra option on an outboard motor is the power trim. You can use this to easily adjust the trim angle of your motor. What will that do? An optimum trim angle will give you faster pick-up (improve acceleration) and more speed. You will find all these options in our web shop. These motors also have an electric power tilt which you can use to adjust the tilt of the motor upwards and downwards.

Different brands of outboard motor
We have all kinds of different brands of outboard motor in our selection.
The majority of our stock consists of Yamaha outboard motors. These motors are available in all price brackets, so you can order a Yamaha outboard motor for as little as €550. Want more power and have a bigger budget? In that case, we even have an outboard motor with a price tag of €27,445.
Honda was the first manufacturer to use 4-stroke technology for outboard motors in 1964. Today, Honda is one of the biggest providers of this type of motor. Honda motors are affordable for everyone – you can buy a genuine Honda motor for your boat for just €400.
Mercury motors come in a variety of models, ranging from 2.5 horsepower for mounting on an inflatable up to 350 horsepower for larger boats.
Suzuki has been producing high-quality outboard motors since 1965. Suzuki is at the forefront of the outboard motor sector. Within our range, you will find Suzuki motors from 2.5 horsepower up to 300 horsepower.
Mariner outboard motors share a lot of similarities with Mercury motors and are produced in the same plant in Brunswick.
Selva is based in Milan, making it the last manufacturer of outboard motors in Europe. Selva’s bigger motors are built by Yamaha while the smaller ones (up to 9.9 horsepower) are produced in-house by Selva.
Tohatsu has more than 60 years of experience. This Japanese brand has been producing high-quality motors since 1956. We are an official Tohatsu dealer.
Evinrude invented the outboard motor as we know it today. With its innovative E-TEC technology, Evinrude is still at the forefront of developments aimed at making boating quieter and cleaner.
Johnson stopped producing outboard motors in 2008. Evinrude is the successor of Johnson. Fortunately, we still have a number of used Johnson outboard motors within our range!
